support for members and friends in times of personal crises and need, such
as transportation, shopping, friendly visits and hugs. For more information

| Communications |
The Communications
Committee supports the OUUC leadership team, committees and staff by helping
to coordinate and enhance communications within the congregation and with
the larger community. The committee is working to develop appropriate
policies and tools to aid the dissemination of clear messages, and is
exploring new ideas to increase our effectiveness in reaching out to the
community. Committee members include the editor of the Unitariana, OUUC
Webmaster, Publicity committee representative, Membership committee representative,
church administrator, two members-at-large from the congregation and a

| Finance |
People
who are good with numbers are fun. If you enjoy working with numbers and
budgets, this is your group! They meet regularly to prepare the annual budget
and to monitor expenses while they have fun. Meeting times vary. |

| Fundraising |
Our job is to raise
money to meet the finanical needs of the congregation, in a way that fosters
goodwill, strengthens community, and enhances the spiritual rewards of
the Congregation. We oversee the major fundraising functions of the church,
like the canvass and the auction. We're always looking for good ideas

Sanctuary |
The Green Sanctuary
committee focuses on helping OUUC make good environmental choices in six
areas of church life:

Hospitality

The
hospitality committee coordinates Dinners for Eight and other events. |

Promotes
opportunities to strengthen ties between members and friends with programs
like New Member Class. Provides outreach to and follows up with new visitors.
Assimilates new members and friends into the life of the congregation. For

The
choir sings for many Sunday services and have two special concerts each
year. Several times a year we have wonderful guest performers from the community.
New members need not audition and ability to read music is helpful but not
required. Rehearsals are usually Wednesdays @ 7PM, at the church. For more

Education |
OUUC
is dedicated to religious education for all ages. Classes for Pre-school,
K-1st, 2nd-3rd, 4th-5th, and Middle School age groups meet Sunday mornings
during each service. The Youth Group meets Sunday evenings at 6PM. Opportunities
for involvement range from teaching or assisting with Sunday School to designing
bulletin boards for the classrooms to stuffing envolopes for mailing to
church-school families. Parents and non-parents are both always welcome

Justice |
We
work on issues to promote social justice locally and globally. We are focusing
on issue(s) selected by this congregation and will be offering opportunities
for members to take those small, necessary steps to make a difference. For

Space
3.0
|
The Space Committee has completed a Master Plan for future expansion of the church facilities. A preliminary assignment of phases has been prepared. Work has begun on Phase One as sketched by applying for a city conditional use permit. As architectural design drawings are developed, they will be posted for information purposes and to receive comments and suggestions.

| Worship
Arts |
This committee is
responsible for providing the Sunday services when our minister is not leading worship. These services may be lead by outside guest
speakers or members of our congregation, and our role is to coordinate
with these participants. Committee members receive training to serve as
celebrants who assist in most Sunday services. We are responsible for
the supplies required for most services. We meet the first Wednesday of
